Blood one is cool, but its too distracting and half-hazard with the blood effects. Having it focused in certain parts, like hands, front, and bits on face, would make it better. Thus, I like your cleaner version moreso, but blood bits are always a great accent

my eyes! also its better without the shading. The crispness of it all is preferred (and damn dude, all mouse?!) you've done great variation in your line usage and thus its a fantastic piece. Great job~
