damn, that short is beautifully animated. You should absolutely post it here

ArtOfAlexH responds:

Thanks, I probably will pretty soon :)

very sweet lines~ I love the coloring and oppressive black lines +0+

UnculturedMutt responds:

Wow. I never thought about it that way.

Its a good start~ I enjoy your pixel action rendering of the mob enemy, and the shading is spot on~
I want some background to it tho. Give him some sort of environment to reside in.

(the review took a bit cause the site went down when I went to post it +3+)

Hoffreloaded responds:

thanks for the tips, ill take this in mind for my next drawing (even tho im very bad doing backgrounds)
Thanks again

whata beaut ;3

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thanks. :D

the socks are the most concerning bit.

Purple-Addict responds:

Lol how come, I am curious now.

birds are just lazy M shapes that are in various stages of unfolding. Hell, they can be V shaped even~ Great hand btw~ That is extremely well-done. You're doing digital drawings correct? The cleanliness seems to denote such.

The character is drawn well be does need a bit more meat to their body. Granted, they could just be a scrawny foe and I'm nit-picking. You've got nice shading and it looks like you're off to a great start.

Also, when drawing landscapes, the foreground is darkest, while the background is lightest due to the distance. Adding a slight foreground object and perhaps some pale far off mountains would give a bit more depth to the last panel

oh, and I will suggest possibly using a font for text. I do like the hand drawn approach, but for legibility you may want to merely type it in.

Kiyan1159 responds:

Yeah, just decided to get into digital and share my creations.

I did notice that his chest was a bit too sunken in after the fact. He's not suppose to be scrawny, he's suppose to be 'well built' and I clearly missed the mark here. As for the shading, thanks. I decided when drawing it on paper+pencil to use shading as a way to differentiate materials and objects, as well as darkness.

There was originally going to be some agave and cactus plants, but I just couldn't get them to not look cartoonishly photoshopped in. I did figure the opposite of what you suggested for near and far. Looking at it now, yeah it would be better the other way around.

I'm using Paint Tool SAI and I really don't understand the program. I tried looking around for a text option but just couldn't find it. So until I do, it's my handwriting.

Thanks for your input by the way. It does help when I can improve off of it.

this turned out extremely well~ nice job all around

dating is absolute shitttttttttttt (especially online stranger date bs)

ADR3-N responds:

Three words. I. FEEL. YOU

Wish you luck. Tinder and Snap be damned, lol

dude seriously, mixing traditional with digital is hard to pin down, its very easy for it to look like shit. But this is sharp~ It came out nicely and quite clean. Plus its true, everybody looks cool af (I love masks, 2020 has been my time to sneak and shine) ;{]

Hibachi responds:

Thank you so much! It definitely is hard to get it right, so that's why it took me a while to embrace it. However, I'm glad that I at least have some process on how to approach it. So again, thank you!

I hear him screaming "YOU SHOT MY EYE OUT"

HeartisttheArtist responds:

Honestly, I just hear him screaming incomprehensibly.

Jimmuh responds:

Thank you so much! It really is a fantastic comic, check it out if you have a minute. ^^
